- About Us
- Our Network
Our Core Program is the California Issues and Trends.
More than 1,700 women leaders from around the state have participated in our programs to increase their knowledge of California issues and trends, broaden their connections, boost their influence, and be inspired to act and make a difference.
Through our programs, Leadership California provides the critical foundation and experiences to help women positively impact their workplaces and communities. We seek to expand the understanding, connections, and opportunities for women leaders, both while they are in our programs and beyond, recognizing that the commitment to leadership and service continues long after the completion of the program.
The biennial 3-day Leadership California Goes to Washington D.C. program (LC to DC) is an independent, stand-alone program that allows participants to visit the nation’s capital to build an understanding of California’s global place. It is open to all women leaders interested in learning more about our nation’s Capital and how they impact California.
Central Valley Women's Outreach
Central Valley Women's Outreach, to connect with women in the valley, takes a variety of forms from standalone events and forums, to collaboration with other valley-wide events with a focus on building leadership competencies for women in the Valley
International Women Leaders Visits
Leadership California alumnae are invited to participate in meetings across the state with delegations of women leaders visiting California from other countries. Trade and diplomacy organizations connect our leaders, and provide an open forum for discussion of crucial issues such as human rights and violence against women and children.
Regional Alumnae Events
Regional gatherings of alumnae and friends occur throughout the year, presenting opportunities for alumnae to reconnect, network and expand our circle of women leaders by introducing friends and colleagues to our programs. Past alumnae events have included mixers, receptions, luncheons, tours and museum visits.
